Temporary Position as Integration Officer

Temporary position as an Integration Officer full-time for approximately 1 year with possible extension. Start date by agreement.

The Social and Labor Market Administration is one of seven administrations in Östersund municipality. The Social and Labor Market Administration provides professional support and is responsible for assistance to families and individuals. The administration is organized into three sectors: Open Care Sector, Children and Adults Sector, and Competence Work Support Sector. Integration issues are part of the Support Unit.

Job Responsibilities

As an integration officer within the Integration team, you will meet newly arrived individuals. You will provide advice, support, and service to the municipality's new citizens based on their needs. Administration and documentation in the municipality's operational systems as well as record-keeping. Practical interventions, such as home visits or community outreach, are also included. The unit works towards providing labor market-oriented support to the target group. Collaboration and cooperation with other relevant actors is an important part of the function.

In your role as an integration officer, you will meet individuals daily who need good guidance and introduction to society. The position involves meeting adults and children based on their circumstances and varying needs. In accordance with the unit's mission, together with your colleagues, we will meet these needs and clarify the rights and obligations we all have in society.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a trained social worker and has a strong commitment to helping others. You have:

• Good computer skills and experience working with digital systems
• Excellent knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
• Good knowledge of current legislation
• Personal suitability
• Driver's license: B - Car
